Education
Aamir attended J.B. Petit School for his pre-primary education, later switching to St. Anne’s High School, Bandra, until the 8th grade, and completed his 9th and 10th grades at Bombay Scottish School, Mahim. He was a state level tennis champion.
He completed his 12th grade at Mumbai’s Narsee Monjee College and described his childhood as “tough” due to the financial problems.
Uncredited Child Debut
At the age of 8, he appeared in “Yaadon Ki Baaraat” (1973), which was the first masala film in bollywood.
The following year, he portrayed the younger version of Mahendra Sandhu’s character in “Madhosh.”
Behind Closed Doors
At 16, Khan collaborated with school friend Aditya Bhattacharya on the experimental 40-minute silent film “Paranoia,” funded by filmmaker Shriram Lagoo. Recent Work
In 2018, Aamir Khan starred in Thugs of Hindostan alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Despite its massive ₹300 crore budget and high expectations, the film received poor reviews and underperformed at the box office, becoming a financial failure.
