Amreshwar Pratap Sahi is a distinguished legal figure known for his extensive career in the Indian judicial system. He served as the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court, assuming the position on November 17, 2018, and later transferred to become the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court on November 11, 2019. He held this position until his retirement on December 30, 2020. Justice Sahi's judicial journey began with his enrollment as an advocate on September 24, 1985, and he practiced primarily at the Allahabad High Court. His expertise and dedication led to his elevation as an Additional Judge on September 25, 2004. He was subsequently confirmed as a permanent Judge on August 31, 2005.
