Arata Izumi, born on July 31, 1982, is a former professional footballer who primarily played as a midfielder. While he was born in Japan, he gained prominence in Indian football, eventually becoming an Indian citizen. His journey in football began in Japan, but he moved to India in the mid2000s, initially playing for East Bengal in 2006.
