A wellknown person in Indian law and politics made a special path for themself. They went from doing well in politics to being a respected judge, and then worked at the highest court in India. Their life shows they really cared about helping the public and knew a lot about Indian law. Born in 1918, their early life was full of the excitement of India before it became free. They took part in the country's political start and joined the Indian National Congress. They were a member of the Rajya Sabha two times, first from 03 April 1962 to 02 April 1968, and again from 03 April 1968 to 02 April 1972. This showed they were good at politics and liked by people. In 1972, something important happened when they were made a judge of the Gauhati High Court. This was the start of their great work as a judge. They were known for being careful with legal things and always wanting to support what is fair. Because they worked hard and knew a lot about law, they were moved up to the Supreme Court of India in 1980. But, they did not work at the Supreme Court for long. They quit in 1983, which caused a lot of talk and guessing. Even though they were only at the top court for a short time, they still helped Indian law in important ways. Their life, which had both political work and being a judge, is a great example of someone who was important in two main parts of Indian democracy. They died in 1993, leaving behind a memory of caring about helping the public.
