Bhagatji Maharaj was a well known follower who lived at home within the Swaminarayan group. His life showed strong faith and helping others without wanting anything back. He was born as Pragji Bhakta in 01 January 1829. He gave his life to Gunatitanand Swami, seeing him as his teacher and living by the rules of the Swaminarayan way of life. His faith and dedication were so strong that Gunatitanand Swami said that Bhagatji Maharaj was his best follower. He famously said, "He is just like me." This deep connection touched followers, making Bhagatji Maharaj an important person in the family line. Living when society and beliefs were changing, Bhagatji Maharaj faced many hard times, but his faith stayed strong. He always helped Gunatitanand Swami, facing problems with great strength. He did more than just have faith himself. He also helped spread the teachings of the Swaminarayan group, encouraging many people to live a life of faith and devotion. He died in 01 January 1897. His story still encourages followers today, showing how faith and service can change lives.
