Ravi Shankar Sharma, popularly known as Bombay Ravi, was a highly acclaimed Indian music director who left an indelible mark on the Hindi film industry. Born in Delhi in 1922, his passion for music ignited early, though he faced initial resistance from his family who favored academic pursuits. Undeterred, Ravi taught himself music, mastering instruments like the harmonium and sitar.
