Daya Ram Sahni was a distinguished Indian archaeologist who played a pivotal role in the excavation and understanding of the Indus Valley Civilization. Born in 1879, Sahni dedicated his life to the pursuit of archaeological knowledge, leaving an indelible mark on the field of Indian history. He received his early education in India before pursuing further studies in Sanskrit at the University of Oxford.
