Devang Gandhi is a former Indian cricketer who primarily played as an opening batsman. He was born on September 6, 1971, in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Gandhi represented India in both Test and One Day International (ODI) cricket during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He made his international debut in an ODI against South Africa in 1999 and subsequently played his first Test match against New Zealand later that same year.
Gandhi was known for his solid technique and patient approach at the crease, often providing stability at the top of the order. While he didn't achieve massive individual scores consistently, he played some crucial innings for India, particularly in ODIs. One of his notable performances was a century against Kenya in the 1999 LG Cup.
His international career was relatively short, lasting from 1999 to 2000. In Test cricket, he played 4 matches, scoring 121 runs. In ODIs, he featured in 3 matches, accumulating 71 runs.
