Dipak Misra - A Lifestory

Someone known for strong legal thinking and dedication to the rules of the Indian Constitution made a big mark on Indian legal history. As the 45th top judge of India, they led during a time of important court decisions and big legal changes. Their path through the courts shows their smart legal mind and strong dedication. They started working as a lawyer in 01 January 1977, and became the top judge in the country after many years of hard work and deep understanding of the law. People who worked with them often spoke highly of their careful attention to details and their skill in breaking down hard legal arguments in a clear and exact way. While they were the top judge, from 01 January 2017 to 01 January 2018, they helped make decisions on some very important cases. Some big cases were the Aadhaar case and making Section 377 no longer a crime. They also famously said, "The law is like a cloth made from justice, equal rights, and fairness." Their dedication to justice and equal rights made them well respected in the legal world and beyond. What they did continues to encourage future lawyers and judges in India.
