Her smart writing often showed corruption and inequality, earning her praise and threats. She was wellliked by her coworkers for her sharp mind and hard work. Another journalist called her a "brave and dedicated journalist who fearlessly exposed bad things." Many people admired her for fighting for the people. She wasn't scared to cover touchy subjects like unfair treatment based on caste and religious extremism. Her dedication to truth and justice, even when things were hard, shows her strength. Sadly, she was killed outside her home in Bengaluru on September 5, 2017. This violence upset the whole country and caused many protests. The search for her killer is still going on, but her story of bravery continues to inspire reporters to seek the truth, even when it's dangerous. Her work, especially on social injustice, makes her a very important person in India's media.
