A person known for great courage and sacrifice in the Indian Army is a big source of hope. His story, like a great movie, is not made up, but a true story of strong bravery. He was a Captain in the Indian Army, a leader who showed great courage during the Congo Crisis of 1961. Born on 29 November 1935, his life from a young man to a war hero is very special. His actions during the UN Operation in the Republic of Congo made him famous. On 05 December 1961, he showed great leadership and bravery even when things were against him. As Captain, he led his soldiers with strong resolve, attacking enemy places and stopping threats very well. His courage was so big that other soldiers said his actions were like "from a war movie", showing how brave he was. He alone took out important enemy spots, helping the mission succeed. He gave his life for his country and his men, earning him the Param Vir Chakra, India's top military award. The award, given after his death, is a lasting sign of his strong spirit and devotion to his duty. He is still a symbol of courage for Indian Army officers for years to come.
