Hasmukh Adhia - A Lifestory

Someone is well known in India for being good at money matters and running things well. This person is not just a banker. They used to work for the government and helped the country's economy a lot. You could think of them as a real life hero who is good with money, but they like using papers with numbers more than wearing a cape. They are famous for helping put in place the Goods and Services Tax (GST). This was a big change that tried to make India's tax system simpler, like when all the heroes join together to fight one bad guy. They worked very hard on this, like planning a big movie release in Bollywood, and people noticed. People who worked with them have said that they are smart and can figure out hard problems in a clear and strong way. They often say, "This person is smart and knows how to get things done." Before they stopped working, they were in charge of taxes and money, which let them make important choices about the country's money plans. Their work shows they wanted to help the public, starting when they joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). They are someone who takes action and always thinks it is important to do what is right.
