Joseph Baptista - A Lifestory
Champion Of Swaraj: Liberty'S Beacon, Inspiring India'S Freedom

Someone known for strong love for their country was a very important person in India's fight to be free. This person didn't just watch; they helped build the free country we have today. You could say they were like the Mahatma Gandhi of Bombay, strongly pushing for self rule way before it was a popular idea. Their effect was bigger than just giving talks. They were great at public speaking, and their words showed how much the country wanted to be free from other countries controlling it. People at the time said this person was someone who took action, not just talking about freedom but really working to make it happen. This person was so dedicated that coworkers would joke, "They breathe freedom, they live freedom!" They took part in the Indian National Congress and did a lot to help make its early plans. They were good friends with leaders like Bal Gangadhar Tilak, and they both wanted India to rule itself. In 1919, they were chosen to lead the Home Rule League, supporting self rule. Their hard work made the idea of self rule go from just a dream to something real. They were a true supporter of the people, always working hard for a free and fair India.
