Someone known for good math answers and helping young people is a big name in Indian math. They are more than just a math expert; they guide, teach, and inspire many future researchers. They were born good at numbers, and this led them to study hard math areas. Their work is called "very smart" and has helped us learn about hard math ideas. They are known for their work with math bundles. Besides research, they have spent much time teaching. They have worked at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), Chennai, where they can explain hard ideas clearly and with excitement. A former student, Dr. Meena, remembers them saying, "The good thing about math is not just the answer, but how you find it." They also work to make math more known and encourage students to work in science, tech, engineering, and math. They help grow the next group of math experts, which makes them important to the Indian science world.
