• Karanvir Bohra was born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, into a Pushkarana Brahmin family.
• He attended G D Somani Memorial School in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. During his childhood, he was neither academically inclined nor good at sports. He pursued junior college at Elphinstone College, Mumbai, studying science, but left school in twelfth grade. Later, he joined Sydenham College, Churchgate, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree. • Karanvir Bohra began his acting career as a child artist in the film Tejaa (1990). He made his television debut with the role of Kabir in DJ's A Creative Unit's Just Mohabbat. He later worked as an assistant to B. P. Singh on the detective series C.I.D., followed by Achanak 37 Saal Baad.
• His first leading role came with Ronnie Screwvala's comedy-fantasy show Shararat, where he portrayed Dhruv.
