Kavita Shah - A Lifestory

An Indian scientist who studies the environment is a strong person in her field. People she works with often say her work is "new and different." You could think of her as someone from a movie, working hard to make her country better. But instead of songs and dances, she uses science to help. One expert in the field said that her research on cleaning up pollution is "very important for dealing with the growing pollution in the Ganges River." She is good at making hard science ideas easy to understand and use. She learned this skill while she was at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
