Koka Rao - A Lifestory
Justice For All, Upholding Law: A Leader Of Jurisprudence

A legal expert is remembered for greatly affecting how law is understood in India. He was the ninth top judge of India, a job he did with great care and smart thinking. His time in this role, though not very long, included important rulings that still affect legal talks today. Born in 1902, his path to the highest court position was built on doing well in school and knowing the law very well. Before becoming the top judge in 1966, he worked as a judge in the Andhra Pradesh High Court and later as the main judge of that same court. People who worked with him often talked about how smart he was and how dedicated he was to supporting what is fair. He strongly believed that the courts should be free to make their own decisions and that they should protect the rights of people. His importance is not just about the cases he led, but also about the ideas he supported. He stopped working in 1967, but he still affects Indian law today.
