Kumar Gandharva, born Shivaputra Siddharamayya Komkalimath, was a Hindustani classical vocalist renowned for his unique and innovative approach to music. Born in Sulebhavi, Karnataka, his prodigious talent was evident from a young age, earning him the moniker "Kumar Gandharva" (boy Gandharva, a celestial musician) due to his extraordinary abilities.
