Leena Nair - A Lifestory

Someone is known for being a great leader in the world of work. Like a good movie, their story has had tough times, but they came out on top as a real thinker. They worked at Unilever for 30 years and moved up, showing they were good at what they did and always wanted to make things better. Someone who worked with them said they were "a leader who makes people want to do things and helps them grow." Their career has been amazing. It reached its highest point when they became the Global Chief Executive Officer of Chanel in 01 January 2022. This was a big deal for them and for the whole industry. It broke down barriers and showed that anyone can reach the top in global business, no matter who they are. Before this, they were the Chief Human Resources Officer at Unilever. They cared about how employees felt and made rules to make the workplace fair for everyone. In 2016, they were the first woman and the first Asian to be chosen for the Unilever Leadership Executive. They once said, "Being successful isn't the end, and failing isn't the end either. What matters is having the courage to keep going." This courage has made them one of the most important people in global business today.
