Pragyan Ojha is a former Indian international cricketer, renowned for his leftarm orthodox spin bowling. Born on September 5, 1986, in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, he began his cricketing journey at a young age, quickly demonstrating a natural talent for spin. Ojha rose through the ranks of domestic cricket, representing Hyderabad with distinction and consistently troubling batsmen with his flight, guile, and subtle variations. His impressive performances in the domestic circuit earned him a callup to the Indian national team in 2008.

Ojha made his Test debut against South Africa in Kanpur, marking the beginning of a promising international career. He quickly established himself as a key member of the Indian spin attack, often partnering with Harbhajan Singh to form a formidable duo.
