Pramukh Maharaj - A Lifestory
Divine Guide, Selfless Servant: Inspiring Faith, Fostering Global Harmony

A spiritual guide lived a life that touched many people. As the leader of a religious group, he gave himself to helping others and bringing peace to the world. He was born on 07 December 1921, in a small town in India, long before he became a spiritual leader. In 1940, he became a monk, started by his teacher. His hard work and kindness quickly gained him respect from others. People he worked with often talked about how he always followed the teachings of Swaminarayan and how well he connected with people from all backgrounds. In 1950, he became the leader of the religious group, a job he did with great effort. He helped the group grow its work in helping people and spreading spiritual ideas around the world. He built temples in New Delhi and London, and he organized big help efforts after events like the 2001 Gujarat earthquake. He inspired many people to give their time and money to help others. His life showed the strength of faith, helping others, and caring for people. He lived by the idea that "Our happiness is in the happiness of others." This idea guided everything he did and still inspires many people today. He died on 13 August 2016, leaving behind a history of spiritual leadership and helping others that will last for many years.
