Praveen Sood - A Lifestory

Someone known for being honest and a good police officer in India is highly thought of because of their new ways of doing things and strong belief in justice. Their work history shows they care about helping the public and have done a lot to make law enforcement better. Like the main character in an exciting Indian crime movie, their story has had hard times and big wins. They have always supported using tech to help stop and solve crimes, like the cool tools in the "Dhoom" movies. People who work with them often say good things about their planning skills and how they get people to work together well. One highlevel officer said in 2021 that their idea for a police force that works better and is nicer to people is really good. Born in 1964, they became an IPS officer in 1986. They were the Director General & Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP) of Karnataka from 2020 to 2023. Before that, they had many important jobs, like Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City, and Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) in different areas. They have won many awards for their work, which shows they are a leader who believes in doing police work well and honestly. As they move to new jobs, their history of new ideas and hard work will surely keep making law enforcement better in India.
