Rahul Gandhi is a prominent Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress party. Born on June 19, 1970, he hails from a lineage deeply rooted in Indian politics, being the son of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, and the grandson of Indira Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, both also former Prime Ministers of India. His early education took place at St. Stephen's College, Delhi, before he pursued higher studies at Harvard University and later earned a degree from Trinity College, Cambridge.

Gandhi's political career began in 2004 when he was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament, representing the constituency of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. He gradually rose through the ranks of the Congress party, holding various organizational positions, including General Secretary. In 2013, he was appointed VicePresident of the Indian National Congress and later served as the party's President from 2017 to 2019.

Throughout his political career, Rahul Gandhi has been a vocal critic of economic inequality, social injustice, and communalism.
