Ram Bismil - A Lifestory
Revolutionary Poet: "Sacrifice For Freedom, Words That Ignite The Soul

A name that is known for being brave and giving up everything, was a big person in India's fight to be free. He was born in 1897. This poet who fought for freedom was very important in the fight against the British rulers. From when he was young, he showed he was strong and loved his country very much. His strong poems, which often showed how much he loved his country, made many Indians feel excited. His poems, like when he was involved in the Kakori Conspiracy of 1925, were a strong tool against the rulers. He was very much affected by the Arya Samaj and liked its ideas of changing society and waking up the nation. The Kakori Conspiracy, a risky plan to rob a train to get money for fighting, caused problems for him and his friends. Even though he was going to be killed, he stayed strong in his promise to help India be free. His last words and actions show how brave he was. His sacrifice and neverchanging commitment still make people want to do good. The things that happened in his life have been shown in movies like "Shaheed" in 1965 and "The Legend of Bhagat Singh" in 2002, showing what he did and making sure people will always remember him. He, along with friends like Ashfaqulla Khan, Rajendra Lahiri, and Thakur Roshan Singh, wrote their names in history as people who died for India's freedom. He is still a symbol of always loving your country and a reason for people to want to be free.
