Justice Served, Controversies Faced: A Legacy Etched In Law

A person known for important court decisions and leading the courts is someone whose work has been as interesting as a courtroom movie. Their time in the job, with both good and bad moments, shows how complex the Indian legal system is. They were the 46th Chief Justice of India from 2018 to 2019. Before becoming the top judge, they worked as a judge in the Gauhati High Court and later as the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Their time as Chief Justice was known for some very important cases. The Ayodhya problem, a sensitive issue going back many years, was solved while they were in charge. The court made a historic decision in November 2019, allowing the Ram Temple to be built. Their court also dealt with cases about the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Assam and the Rafale deal. Even though their decisions were often praised, their work also had its share of problems. Despite the arguments, this person made a clear impact on the Indian legal system. Even after they stopped working on 17 November 2019, they are still someone people are interested in, now working as a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). Their story is about power, law, and how one person can have a lasting effect on the nation's legal structure.
