Initially, Khanna aspired to become a model and even worked as a model before entering the film industry. Her acting career began with a supporting role in the Hindi film "Madras Cafe" (2013), where she played the role of Ruby. Khanna's breakthrough came in Telugu cinema with her debut in "Oohalu Gusagusalade" (2014).
