Rishabh Pant - A Lifestory
Fearless at the Stumps, Fearless with the Bat

Rishabh Pant, born on October 4, 1997, in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, is a dynamic Indian cricketer known for his explosive batting and wicket-keeping skills. Starting his cricket journey at a young age, Pant's breakthrough came in 2016 when he captained the India U-19 team to the World Cup final. His aggressive style soon earned him a place in the Indian team, debuting in 2017. Pant became a key figure in India's historic Test series win in Australia (2018-19) and played a match-winning knock in the 2020-21 Gabba Test. His IPL career also took off, with him becoming Delhi Capitals' captain and a standout performer. In 2025, he became the most expensive player in IPL history, bought for ₹27 crore by Lucknow Super Giants. Despite a major setback in December 2022 when he was involved in a serious car accident, Pant's resilience and determination to return to cricket have solidified his status as one of India's most exciting cricketers.
