Sajeevan Sajana has become a symbol of resilience and determination in Indian women’s cricket. Coming from the Kurichia tribe and a modest family background, Sajana discovered her love for cricket at a young age. A turning point in her journey was meeting Gautam Gambhir, who inspired her to pursue the sport seriously. Rising through the ranks, she captained her local Under-19 team and later joined Mumbai Indians in the Women's Premier League (WPL). Sajana's crowning moment came in 2024 when she hit a match-winning six against Delhi Capitals, cementing her place as a promising cricketer. Despite financial struggles and limited resources, Sajana’s dedication and perseverance inspire many aspiring athletes across India.
