Shah Faesal - A Lifestory

The person, known for both good things and problems, is an Indian government worker whose work life has been anything but normal. His story, like a Bollywood movie, is about wanting to do well, having big ideas, and the hard truths of how India is run. Now working as a Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Culture (India), he has a special way of looking at things because of what he has been through. He first got the country's attention by getting the highest score on the 2010 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) test, the first person from Kashmir to do this. This was seen as a sign of hope, like scenes from the movie "Lakshya", inspiring many young people in the area. People who worked with him then said he was "a hard working and smart officer, someone who could really make things better." But, his journey took a surprising turn in January 2019 when he quit the IAS, saying there were "non stop killings in Kashmir" and that "Indian Muslims were being pushed aside." This decision was like the ideas in movies like "Haider", which looked at the hard parts of the area. He then tried politics, starting the Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement. His time in politics did not last long. In August 2020, with big political changes happening in Jammu and Kashmir, he quit as the head of the party. In April 2022, he was brought back into the IAS, another surprise in his work life. Today, as Deputy Secretary, he deals with the difficult parts of running culture, showing that his story, like a good movie, is still going on.
