Soha Ali Khan is an Indian actress and author, known for her work in Hindi and Bengali cinema. Born on October 4, 1978, in New Delhi, she hails from a prominent and influential family. Her father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was a legendary cricketer and the titular Nawab of Pataudi, while her mother, Sharmila Tagore, is a veteran actress and head of the Tagore family. Soha is the younger sister of actor Saif Ali Khan and sister of Saba Ali Khan, a jewellery designer.

Growing up in a privileged and intellectually stimulating environment, Soha received a strong academic foundation. She attended The British School in New Delhi and later pursued a degree in Modern History at Balliol College, Oxford University. She furthered her education by earning a Master's degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Before venturing into acting, Soha worked for Ford Foundation and Citibank. However, her passion for the performing arts eventually led her to the film industry. She made her acting debut in the Bollywood film "Dil Maange More!!!" in 2004. While she has appeared in several mainstream Bollywood movies like "Rang De Basanti," "Khoya Khoya Chand," and "Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns," Soha has also carved a niche for herself in independent and critically acclaimed films such as "Mumbai Meri Jaan" and "Midnight's Children."

Beyond acting, Soha is also an accomplished author. In 2017, she published her memoir, "The Perils of Being Moderately Famous," which offers a humorous and insightful look into her life, family, and experiences in the film industry. She is married to actor Kunal Kemmu, and they have a daughter named Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Soha is often seen as a poised and articulate personality, balancing her professional life with her family responsibilities.
