Suhasini Ganguly - A Lifestory
Courageous Freedom Fighter: Dedicated To India'S Independence, Always Remembered

Born in 1909, she was a strong woman who gave her life to free India. Her journey started in the exciting time before India was free, a time full of change. She felt sad about her country's problems and was inspired by leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and the sacrifices of many people. She started helping the freedom movement in Chittagong, where she joined a group led by Masterda Surya Sen. She bravely took part in actions to fight British rule, like the bold Chittagong Armoury Raid in 1930. Even though most fighters were men, she showed her strength many times. She did more than just fight. She helped other fighters by giving them a safe place to stay and helping them when they needed it, even when it was dangerous for her. Because she was so committed, she was arrested and put in jail many times. She faced these hard times with great bravery, inspiring many people. Even after India became free in 1947, she kept working to make society better, focusing on fixing social problems and helping poor people. Her life shows how strong beliefs can be and how important it is to remember a woman who dreamed of a free India. A friend once said about her, "She never gave up, her spirit was truly strong."
