Tinu Yohannan is a former Indian cricketer who primarily played as a rightarm fastmedium bowler. Born in Kollam, Kerala, he made his firstclass debut in the late 1990s, quickly gaining attention for his pace and ability to generate bounce. Yohannan's consistent performances at the domestic level earned him a callup to the Indian national team in 2001. He debuted in a Test match against England, becoming the first Kerala cricketer to represent India in Test cricket.

While Yohannan possessed raw talent and potential, his international career was relatively shortlived. He played a limited number of Test and One Day International (ODI) matches for India. Although he showed glimpses of brilliance, he struggled to maintain consistency and secure a permanent place in the team. Injuries also hampered his progress and availability for selection.
