Uday Chopra is an Indian actor, film producer, screenwriter, and assistant director primarily known for his work in Bollywood. Born on January 5, 1973, he is the son of the late Yash Chopra, a legendary filmmaker, and the younger brother of Aditya Chopra, who heads Yash Raj Films (YRF). Uday's career began as an assistant director on several YRF productions, gaining valuable experience behind the camera before venturing into acting. He made his acting debut in 2000 with the blockbuster romantic drama "Mohabbatein," a multistarrer that launched his career and earned him a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
