The person was not like everyone else; they were a strong fighter, known for being brave and really caring about India's freedom. They were born when many people wanted their country to be free, and they felt very strongly about it, which is how they lived their life. Picture Bengal in the early 1900s, a place where people were very unhappy with British rule. It was in this tense place that the person found what they wanted to do. They did not just sit back and do nothing. They looked up to people like Aurobindo Ghosh and wanted India to be completely free. They got very involved in secret groups that were starting up all over Bengal. They were very smart, especially in chemistry, which they used to make explosives. Think of 'The Bengal Chemical & Pharmaceutical Works', but done secretly, with the only goal of freeing India. Their part in the 'Alipore Bomb Case' in 1908, after the 'Muzaffarpur Bombing', made them a part of history. Even though the plan to kill Douglas Kingsford, the Chief Presidency Magistrate, did not work, the case showed how much people hated British rule and how willing the fighters were to do extreme things. The trial, which is shown in many movies, became a sign of not giving in. Even though they were sentenced to life in prison, their spirit was still strong, showing how much they wanted a free India. They were a true patriot, whose name is still remembered in Indian history.
