Umesh Yadav is a prominent Indian cricketer, primarily known for his rightarm fast bowling. He has represented the Indian national team in all three formats of the game: Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Yadav hails from Nagpur, Maharashtra, and his journey to professional cricket is quite inspiring. He initially aspired to be a policeman or join the army, reflecting his humble background. However, his natural talent for bowling soon became apparent, leading him to pursue cricket seriously.
Yadav made his firstclass debut for Vidarbha in the September 2008 season and quickly gained recognition for his pace and ability to generate bounce.
