Vineet Joshi - A Lifestory
Leading Higher Education, Shaping India'S Future With Dedication

Someone known for hard work and good leadership in Indian schools is now the Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, which is part of the Ministry of Education. Their path, like a good movie, has had big moments and a strong focus on changing schools for the better. Their work history shows a smart plan, like a chess player, always ready for what schools need. People who work with them say they are like someone who can see the big picture, a saying they used when talking about the National Education Policy in 2020. Before this job, they had important roles that helped them learn a lot about Indian schools. When they were in charge of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), they led changes to make the school program new and help students learn in all ways. Their work then, around 2010, really helped change the focus from just memorizing to thinking for yourself. The way they lead, like a director helping actors, helps people talk openly and do their best. Their focus on making sure everyone can get good schooling is more than just a job. It's a strong feeling that makes them want to make a real change.
