I couldnt find this name in any history books or myths Ive read.

You might occasionally see slight spelling changes, like Kokan or Kokayne, but these are rare and usually just mistakes. There arent any widely used shorter versions either. Basically, its a name that mostly stands on its own. Similar-sounding names are different and arent considered variations of Kokane.
