Lalremsiami, born on March 30, 2000, in Mizoram, India, is a talented Indian field hockey player known for her role as a forward, and occasionally as a halfback. She developed an interest in sports early on, initially leaning toward football, but was later introduced to hockey by a school teacher. Despite financial challenges, she joined the Mizoram state team, and her remarkable performances earned her a place in the Indian national team in 2017. Lalremsiami played a pivotal role in India’s bronze medal victory at the 2018 Asian Games and continued to shine in international tournaments like the FIH Hockey Women’s World Cup and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Known for her speed, technical skill, and attacking mindset, she has become a key figure in women's hockey. Off the field, she remains grounded and dedicated to elevating the sport in India, serving as an inspiration for aspiring athletes.
