Description:
This names story is tied to a famous Hindu holy person and their divine form. This avatar is seen as a version of Vithoba, whos another name for Krishna. Pandurang is also closely linked to this deity. Big celebrations for this saint include Ekadashi, a monthly event, and a yearly festival in Pandharpur, a very important place for pilgrims. These events are full of religious songs, parades, and community get-togethers.
