Description:
The name, from Sanskrit, means "knowledge" or "wisdom." This meaning might subtly connect to sayings about learning, but there arent any established phrases directly using "this name." I checked other languages too, and found nothing.
This name is a powerful god, a form of Vishnu. This god is very popular. Shiva, a close relative, is often shown with this god in stories. Big festivals like Janmashtami (this gods birthday) and Govardhan Puja (celebrating this gods protection from a flood) honor this god. These festivals are lively and full of special ceremonies and community involvement.
