Description:
Aravalli, also spelled Aravalli Hills, is a mountain range in the state of Rajasthan in western India. The Aravalli Hills are part of the Great Indian Desert and run parallel to the Thar Desert for about 180 km. The highest peak in the Aravalli Hills is Mount Abu, at 2,167 m. The Aravalli Hills are home to a variety of wildlife, including the Asiatic lion, the royal Bengal tiger, and the Indian leopard.
