The Adijabhi people are a Muslim community from the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. They are also known as the Adi Jammu, Adi Jammu Kashmiri, or Jammu Muslims. The Adijabhis are a sub-group of the Kashmiri Muslims. The Adijabhis are believed to have migrated from the Gilgit-Baltistan region in the nineteenth century. They are largely settled in the Jammu region and in the districts of Srinagar, Kupwara, and Baramulla. The Adijabhis are a Sunni Muslim community. They speak the Kashmiri language. The Adijabhis are considered to be one of the most prosperous Muslim communities in Jammu and Kashmir. They are well-educated and prosperous. The Adijabhis are noted for their craftsmanship in the production of carpets, shawls, and carpentry. The Adijabhis are also known for their traditional music and dance.
