The Mararsangji is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located in the town of Mararsang, in the Garhwal Himalayas, Uttarakhand, India. The monastery was founded in the 17th century by a group of Tibetan Buddhist monks who had fled from Tibet after the Chinese invasion of that country. The monastery is noted for its extensive library of Buddhist scriptures, as well as its fine arts and architecture. The Mararsangji is also the site of a yearly festival, the Mararsang Festival, which celebrates the monastic tradition and the spiritual heritage of the monastery.
