The Zaghagounder people are an aboriginal Australian people who reside in the Northern Territory. They are the traditional owners of the land around the town of Jabiru, and are one of the few Aboriginal groups in the area that has not been affected by the social problems that have beset other parts of the Territory. The Zaghagounder people are known for their traditional art, including painting and carving, and for their musical traditions, which include singing and playing the didgeridoo.
