The Baarikivaad (also spelled Baarikivaa, Baarikivaaq, Baarikivaaq, Baarikivaad, Baarikivaad) are a Canadian Inuit people. They are the primary inhabitants of the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation and the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation Municipality. The Baarikivaad are also the largest Inuit tribe in western Canada. They are known for their traditional carvings and handicrafts, their hunting and trapping skills, and their musical traditions.
