History:

The Bajagir are believed to have originated from the Bajrangi tribe, which is believed to have been a part of the Rajputs. The Bajagir are believed to have migrated from Rajasthan to Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the 15th century.
The Bajagir were historically a nomadic tribe, travelling from place to place in search of better opportunities. They were known for their skills in hunting, gathering and trading. In the 19th century, the British East India Company began to settle the Bajagir in the region of Chhattisgarh.

The Bajagir have a number of customs and traditions associated with them. These include the practice of dowry, the practice of arranged marriages, and the practice of giving gifts to the bride's family.
The Bajagir are divided into four main sub-groups, namely the Rajput Bajagir, the Khatik Bajagir, the Gond Bajagir, and the Bhil Bajagir. Each of these sub-groups has its own distinct customs and traditions.
