The Bandalagunt people are a Native American tribe who reside in the state of New Mexico. They are of Puebloan origin and are believed to have migrated to the area around 1000 AD. The Bandalagunt people are a federally recognized tribe and their traditional territory includes parts of Bernalillo, Valencia, and Sandoval counties. There are around 1,000 members of the tribe living in the area. The Bandalagunt people are noted for their basketry and jewelry crafts, and their traditional dance is the Eagle Dance.
