CHANGKORAM is a region in northeastern Thailand. It is bordered by Laos to the north, Myanmar to the east and south, and the Shan States of Myanmar and China to the west. The region has a long history and is renowned for its beautiful landscapes, temples and cultural heritage. The Changkoram people are a Mon-Khmer people who speak the Changkoram language. Changkoram is also known as the 'Land of a Thousand Hills' because of its many high mountains.
