History:

Chhaparwaal is a Gotra (clan) of the Jat community, found mainly in the state of Haryana, India. The word Chhaparwaal is derived from the word 'Chhapar', which means a small village.
The Chhaparwaals are believed to have descended from the great Rajput warrior, Gaj Singh. They are said to have migrated from Rajasthan to the region of Haryana in the 11th century.
