The Chinagangamma is a Telugu speaking Hindu caste found in Andhra Pradesh, India. They are a sub-caste of the Vanniyar community. The Chinagangamma are agriculturalists and are found in the districts of Anantapur, Chittoor, East Godavari, Guntur, Krishna, Kurnool, Nellore, Prakasam, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam and West Godavari. They are also found in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. The Chinagangamma are believed to be descendants of the Solar Dynasty, and are one of the few Hindu castes that revere the sun god Surya.
